Virtual Lever
AI with authority to bind the organisation (legally/financially) but lacks judgment to use it. Example: Chatbot creating contracts without understanding policy.
Simulation Fallacy
Output looks so professional (perfect map) that humans skip verification (territory check). Example: Deloitte's perfectly formatted report with fabricated citations.
Entropy Mismatch
AI used for task requiring "human care/pain" (high entropy), making message worthless. Example: CEO apology email with PNG bullets created by ChatGPT.
Ashby's Law
"Only variety can destroy variety." Model must have high variance to solve high-entropy tasks, necessitating risk. Mismatch between perception and actuation creates disasters.
Jevons Paradox
Increasing efficiency of content generation leads to explosion in content consumption, ultimately increasing total demand for verification rather than reducing it.
Apprenticeship Paradox
Automating "low entropy" drudgery (traditional training ground for juniors) severs the talent pipeline, making it impossible to manufacture senior engineers.
